Job Purpose

Drive and lead all commercial matters related to Supply & Offtake management activities in accordance to the contractual terms and conditions in all Feed Supply, Offtake and Intercompany agreements including COSA, COSSA, RPOA, ELNOSA, SASOA, EPOA and MPOA as well as 3rd party arrangements to ensure overall purchase, sales and customer management activities carried out by stakeholders (including, but not limited to Suppliers, Offtakers and 3rd parties) are aligned to PRefChem’s vision, aspiration and strategic direction.

Key Accountabilities

Commercial Negotiation

Lead and manage commercial negotiations for crude oil supply in accordance to COSA, COSSA and Spot crude sourcing arrangements as well as the associated vessel nomination and confirmation processes (where necessary) by identifying commercial levers that ensure optimum supply terms are entered into whilst minimising PRefChem exposures.

Offtake Agreement Management

Strategise and lead offtake management activities with Offtakers for and on behalf of PRefChem through regular commercial engagements and streamlined communication protocols to ensure equitable allocation of offtake products whilst maximising PRefChem bottom-line.

Offspec Product Management

Lead and conclude negotiations for offspec product settlement with Offtakers and third party customers in accordance with established Offtake Agreements by leveraging on market intelligence, product knowledge and pricing structures to derive optimum value for PRefChem.

Product Pricing Component Determination

Review and formulate pricing component determination methodologies to develop PRefChem’s quarterly Alpha, Beta and Deemed Deductibles for Refining and Petrochemical products, obtain PPOC approval for the pricing components prior to issuing the Price Notice to Offtakers.

Feedstock and Sales Tenders

Negotiate and lead end-to-end management of all purchase and sales tenders (for products defined in Offtake Agreements as well as non-products) and the relevant commercial agreements to optimise the PRefChem’s commercial interests.

Demurrage, Claims and Chartering Management

Negotiate, determine and approve incoming and outgoing claims in timely fashion by authorising demurrage computations, challenging shipping-related claims, resolving charter-party conflicts with Suppliers, Offtakers and third party service providers in order to preserve PRefChem’s (charterer’s) rights and reduce value leakage.

Customer Complaints Management

Lead, review and resolve complaints from Suppliers, Offtakers and 3rd party customers by directly interacting with key stakeholders, directing investigations and troubleshooting solutions towards minimising complaints and claims resulting in improved customer satisfaction and added-value to PRefChem.

HSE Compliance

Exemplifies a commitment to prioritizing safety and adhering rigorously to OSHA rules and regulations. Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) in the workplace.

Qualification

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized institution.
  • At least 15 years of working experience in commercial Oil & Gas business
  • Strong leadership qualities, good communication, problem solving, motivating skills and ability to work well with others.
