Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Coordinator at Gaia Science (M) Sdn Bhd in Selangor, Malaysia. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating service activities, managing service documentation, providing excellent customer service, and facilitating communication between different teams.

  • Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
  • Customer Service expertise
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and time management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in the scientific or laboratory equipment industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related Science field

Job Description:

Daily:

1. To maintain, follow-up and updating Service Planner / Calendar / Summary / Job status

2. To coordinate engineer schedule for installation or service/repair

3. Create and maintain a database of clients via Service Enquiry List and Test Report Summary List

4. Ensure each client is given the necessary services and follow up to fill ongoing service needs

5. Answer telephones and respond to email inquiries in the office

6. To generate Service quotations

7. To generate Sales Order related to service team

Periodically:

1. To participate in Sebutharga/Tender related to service team

2. To liaise with operation team for spare parts status/ new equipment installation information

3. To generate Service report and email/courier to customer after successful maintenance [ppm]

4. To generate Service Weekly report
