Role Purpose

To coordinate audits, deficiency reports and liaising with foreign aviation authorities, and administer airworthiness licensing of company approval system.

Key Accountability
  • Responsible to vet Concessions and Dispensations and recommending for approval by HQA/Manager Coordinator, and administer aircraft CoR, CoA and others aircraft airworthiness certificates.
  • To conduct surveillance of aircraft during hangar checks and at ramp to ensure compliance to DCA, manufacturer and Company requirements and standard practices.
  • To accomplish plan audit; compliance, products, station and vendor, in accordance with approved annual plan audit program to ensure compliance with DCA requirements and Company policies.
  • To carry out investigation arising from accident/incident; MOR, Safety Report, SAFA, Foreign Aviation Authorities Audit findings, etc., on assigned aircraft.
  • To carry out assessment on candidate to be authorized as a signatory for maintenance release of MAB fleet of aircraft and component/parts.
Qualification
  • DCA AMEL Part-66 Cat B1/B2
  • Aircraft Type B1/B2 endorsement
Working Experience
  • Minimum 5 years working experience as LAE B1/B2 and at least 2 years as Duty Engineer/Lead Engineer of Shift at Line/Base Maintenance/Workshops or
  • At least 2 aircraft operated by MAB. Having the aircraft type rating endorsement, 5 years or if without aircraft type rating endorsement, 10 years maintenance experience in Continuing Airworthiness environment.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Successfully completed Lead Auditor and Safety Investigation courses.
  • Must have working knowledge of MCAR 2016, EASA Part-M, EASA Part-145 and FAR-145.
  • Must be IT literate; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

  • Interaction with all internal and external customers and provide airworthiness solution with minimum supervision.
