  • Degree in Engineering, Telecommunication or any related field.
  • MBA is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Technology, Project Planning and with 5 years’ experience in a management role.

KEY SKILLS & BEHAVIOURS:

  • To track industry and technology trends, lead assessment and development of emerging technology and systems, and deliver 3 – 5 years network roadmap by ensuring the usage of right technology at the right time and conditions. Responsible to initiate and lead projects, trials and solutions with clear technical and business outcomes.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / MAJOR TASKS:

  1. Lead development of 3 – 5 years technology roadmap on Fixed Network Infrastructure that ensures Allo network leadership.
  2. Evaluate current and new technology and solutions in the market with recommendations on the technical feasibility and business viability for adoption to support long-term business goals.
  3. Define and conduct trials and proof-of-concepts on promising solutions and technologies and collaborating with respective product owner(s) for introduction into the network and commercialization.
  4. Development of cost and operating models, lead RFx specifications and techno-commercial evaluations to support business decisions.
  5. Provide solutions, consultancy and knowledge sharing to internal and external stakeholder on subjects related to new network technologies and the business opportunities around it.
  6. Develop the technical requirements and solutions for introduction of new network capabilities to enable new and innovative services and revenue streams and ensuring cross-functional and cross-departmental alignment.
  7. Deliver high-quality, accurate and timely results, findings and info pack to senior/top management and across departments, industry, external customers and stakeholders.
  8. Acts as the technical lead and Allo representative with regulatory and standardization bodies, industry and associations, and enterprise customers on key strategic initiatives and external engagements such as industry forums and working group committee.
  9. Develop a financial budget, review financial information, monitor and control operational budget to ensure effective spent as well as to enhance profitability.
  10. Review and enforce the implementation of the procedures and guidelines as well as advise the team on issues and problem resolution in order to ensure smooth operations and adherence to stipulated requirements.
  11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
