JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities include planning, creating, implementing, and designing the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) for EPF's digital channels. Additionally, this responsibility encompasses producing creative and user-friendly designs that align with technological advancements and the needs of users and stakeholders.

Key tasks involve analyzing the requirements of the product to be developed and collaborating with the Development Team, Digital Testing Team, Scrum Team, Subject Matter Experts, and other relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, the execution of these tasks requires clear communication skills and a strong knowledge of Agile Methodology to successfully carry out assigned responsibilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct research to understand the needs and preferences of users for EPF's digital channels. This will inform decision-making regarding proposed UI/UX design solutions.
  • Lead usability testing sessions to gather insights on user interactions, identify pain points, and inform UI/UX improvements for EPF's digital channels, including Mobile Applications, Web Portals, and websites.
  • Develop and provide storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to facilitate communication with stakeholders before the implementation of a product.
  • Take responsibility for enhancing the user experience and refining the UI/UX design of EPF's digital channels based on user feedback, data analysis, and industry trends.
  • Lead UI/UX development sessions, including the execution of relevant Agile activities such as Product Discovery.
  • Engage in other Agile activities, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Provide explanations and guidance to the Scrum team regarding requirements and criteria based on the storyboards, mockups, and prototypes that have been developed.
  • Execute ad-hoc assignments as directed by management from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Passed the Malaysian Language (including passing the Oral Test) at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia level or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the government
  • A Bachelor's degree with honors in Computer Science or a recognized equivalent qualification in a related field approved by the government.
  • Below 5 years of experience as a UI/UX professional, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in projects involving digital channels.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience working with Scrum teams in digital product development.
  • Experience in identifying user requirements, managing the product backlog, and translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical user stories.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar design software. Experience in mobile app and web design, including knowledge of responsive design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
