Ansell is looking for a Sr Manager, Sales to join our team in Cyberjaya.

In this position you will play a vital role in planning, direction, control and coordination of the sales activities relating to the Ansell Products in assigned territory. Responsible for meeting and where possible exceeding all budgeted sales and profit goals within the region across 6 countries in SEA.

What your role will be?

Collaborating with our cross functional teams, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for SUI & Life Science sales business across SEA countries of Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand & Malaysia.
  • Be accountable for sales revenues, pricing, gross margin & expenses for the sub region. Develops sales & market share growth objectives so that the turnover, margin & competitive position are achieved.
  • Helps to develop the relevant inputs for the preparation of strategic, operational and financial plans whilst working closely with the South Asia CU Director.
  • Proposes a country policy regarding different routes to channel, types of distribution, defining and selecting the distributors involved in the program and maximises current distribution network performance if there is no distribution manager present in the territory.
  • Contributes to and follows the implementation and improvement of the categorization model as well as related price and discount strategies with the goal of a common regional policy.
  • Maintains a continuous interface with important distributors and customers and is responsible for relations with external bodies. Initiates country distributor marketing activities and follows-up budgets whilst also providing analysis and recommendations., if no distribution manager in the territory
  • Lead Regional Marketing and Liaises with Global Marketing to provide advice support ensuring the development of campaigns in line with customer & vertical priorities and develop material to provide informative and supportive material for End Users
  • On a monthly basis, identifies all significant changes in the market that have an effect on Ansell’s competitive position. Presents proposals for changes and modifications to existing strategies and tactics and assures that they are executed after approval.
  • Leads an effective sales organization through annual reviews of all subordinates in order to optimize their training/development and adequate selection for advancement.
  • Supports the implementation of local marketing/communication activities in line with Ansell business strategy.
  • Maintains strict control over all approved local selling expenses
  • Maintains a continuous interface with internal stakeholders such as RSD and provides them with accurate sales forecasts in the assigned territory
  • Undertakes any other assigned projects of the RSD which relate to the overall performance and effectiveness of strategy.

  • Proven experience of selling through end-users and distributors
  • Proven track record of delivering sales results
  • Experience in the Industrial Industry would be an added advantage
