Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive/Accountant
Main Responsibilities :
- Manage the accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) for Korea branch
- Manage month end closing (AP, AR, GL, accruals, etc) for Korea branch
- Financial reporting: AP and AR ageing analysis
- Forecast cash flow (in cooperation with project team and HR team in Korea)
- Coordinating invoice/expense claims approval process and ensure compliance with company’s policies
- Compile VAT return / Corporate Income Tax return for the Korean branch and submit the supporting documents/information to the tax agents in Korea
- Support for audit performed by Malaysian auditor
- Liaise with branch HR in Korea concerning the secondment process of foreign personnel to the branch
Other Responsibilities :
- Support various accountings activities for Malaysia head office, including month end closing activities (AP, AR, GL, accruals, etc)
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Participate in audit and tax activities
- Any other tasks as assigned by Finance Manager
Requirements :
· Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting
· At least 5 years of related experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a MNC environment
· Knowledge of full set of accounts would be a plus
· Knowledge of ERP systems. Knowledge of SAP advantageous but not mandatory
· Hands on, proactive, independent and willing to learn
