- Responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.
- Determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator loads. Independently operating, setting up, and programming our modern 5-axis machining centers, including external setup.
- Monitoring the 5-axis CNC machine park (Siemens Sinumerik 840D control) and associated processes and overseeing conventional and NC milling machines.
- Optimizing CNC manufacturing processes and runtimes.
- Training and further educating internal employees in the area of 5-axis milling in all technical aspects of CNC manufacturing. Instructing employees in the technical area and external setup.
- Complete management of our tool management system.
- At least three (3) years of experience in CNC 5-axis milling with Sinumerik 840D control.
- Certified in the field of machining. Additional certification as a technician or master (added advantage) or at least AEVO (Instructor suitability regulations)
- Experience with Catia V5 and Vericut software for creating and simulating CAM programs.
- Knowledge of milling tool geometries is an advantage.
- Creating milling programs, developing program structures.
- Implementing and ensuring quality standards based on existing specifications and DIN/EN ISO standards.
- Independent and solution-oriented working style as well as team and communication skills, flexibility, resilience.
- Responsibility for prototypes and their milling processes in close cooperation with local engineering and Aesculap engineering.
- Developing tools to optimize our milling processes together with all our partners.
- Mathematical, geometric, and trigonometric knowledge.
- Documenting measures by filling out production and quality protocols.
- Identifying malfunctions and correcting errors.
- Good knowledge in creating inspection plans and workflows.
- Knowledge of standard procedures (SOP) in machining.
- Working in a team and interest in sharing expertise is expected.
- Achieving company goals (KPIs) by taking responsibility for meeting new requirements and tasks.
- Willingness for continuous internal/external training.
- Language skills: English both spoken and written.
