We are looking for a Remittance Processing Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various remittance transactions such as TT, MEPS, drafts, and more. Your knowledge of SWIFT and relevant guidelines governing remittances, along with your experience in Microsoft applications, will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong coordination and communication skills, be able to multitask independently, and excel in a time-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and transact remittances including TT, MEPS, and drafts
  • Maintain a strong understanding of SWIFT standards, regulations, and guidelines
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) efficiently
  • Coordinate with internal teams, business units, bankers, and customers effectively
  • Ensure operational efficiency, promote process improvements, and manage risk
  • Adhere to internal control procedures meticulously
  • Approach problem resolution and decision-making with diplomacy and tact
  • Maintain a customer-oriented mindset, prioritizing quality and satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in remittance processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work confidently and independently in time-critical situations
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, and detail-oriented
