We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Executive to join our Motor Underwriting team. In this role, you'll support motor underwriting analysis, coordination, and administration, with a focus on continuous performance monitoring, ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and motor product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze trends and performance across preferred and non-preferred segments within the motor portfolio to identify any deviations.
  • Regularly evaluate motor underwriting guidelines, leveraging data-driven decision-making.
  • Enhance underwriting processes to improve the experience for business partners and customers.
  • Evaluate and determine terms and conditions for complex risks, aligning with the company's risk selection criteria.
  • Assist in reviewing and optimizing the underwriting process to ensure effective and timely product delivery.
  • Conduct regular analysis of operational data to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the product team on developing and refining new motor products.
  • Address queries and referrals from distribution channels related to portfolio underwriting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the General Insurance industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Certification from Chartered Insurance Institute or Malaysian Insurance Institute is a plus
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Excel or Power Bl is highly desirable
