Role Purpose

This position is responsible in managing strategic GHC initiatives at BU to translate business agenda into a HC agenda to support companys direction

Key Accountability

Human Capital Planning & Budgeting

  1. Responsible to implement Human Capital strategy and planning that covers Profit Centre manpower requirements and optimisation, effective organisation design, Business Plan and HC policies to support the business strategic objectives and business growth.
  2. Formulate overall Profit Centre manpower strategy; provide analysis and direction on HR Business Plan, manpower planning and manage all issues pertaining to manpower planning and strategy.
  3. Facilitate effective organisation design and set up towards optimisation of manpower that support current and future group strategies and business ventures.
  4. Plan & implement future manpower requirement in term of numbers and required skills and competencies (including promotion) so as to support the Group strategic business objectives.
  5. Prepare projections of manpower requirements for respective Profit Centre.
  6. Collaboratively working with members of business teams to provide leadership, ensure proper structural alignment and build synergies across businesses.
  7. Plan for Profit Centre HC budget and financial control for cost effective measures as well as organisation effectiveness functions for Profit Centre HC towards achieving operational excellence.
  8. Direct, control and ensure effective management of Group HR Business Plan, budget and control and accurate HR reporting and analysis.
  9. Continuous review and monitoring to evaluate business and operational needs of the group on Human Capital for the development of Group HC policies and procedures for Group Wide implementation.
  10. Ensure the established governance, control and policy related matters are properly communicated and executed at Divisions that supports HR planning, budgeting and reporting processes.

HC Business Driver (HCBD)

  1. Plan, direct and control the effectiveness of human capital operations and services to deliver higher productivity.
  2. Managing the implementation of human capital strategies, policies and procedures and ensure compliance with the policies and procedures and terms and conditions and to support the achievement of MAG business objectives.
  3. Champion and lead the SLA enforcement and negotiation and propose future improvement for the benefits of the organization
  4. Facilitate and involve with resource planning rationalization at divisional level in execution to medium term planning horizon. Track and update manpower statistics, follow through on recruitment needs, facilitate team mobilization within division and strategize future needs based on business requirement
  5. Facilitate business process transformation. Manage discussions and work closely with the respective coordinators at BU to consolidate and achieve performance indicators, explore productivity improvement and implementation of identified initiatives
  6. Provide assistance and negotiation with BUs in matters related to OD (e.g. job requisition, job evaluation and structure change), benefits, IR related etc
