Responsibilities

We are expanding our development team in Kuala Lumpur and are looking for a talented Android

Developer. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working with state-of-the-art technologies in the finance industry to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers. As an Android Developer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineers from diverse cultural and technical backgrounds.

As an Android Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development of high-quality solutions using a modern technology stack.
  • Designing and implementing new features, including APIs, database structures, or integrations with internal systems and third-party providers.
  • Employing best practices by writing unit and integration tests as part of the organization's development framework.
  • Actively participating in team discussions, sharing insights, and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Working closely with business and development teams across Denmark, Malaysia, Lithuania, and India.
  • Upholding the highest standards of integrity established by the team in collaboration with our business partners.
  • Leveraging your deep understanding of software architecture to design flexible, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements (Must Have):

  • 2+ years of experience as a Native Android Developer
  • Minimum of 1+ year experience Kotlin (with proven experience)
  • Experience with Android build system, Gradle

Technical Requirements (Good to Have):

  • Know how to work with design systems
  • Able to contribute to UI/UX discussions
  • Experience setting up CI pipelines
  • Experience working with and writing Docker containers
  • Good grasp of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience optimizing app performance and size
  • Experience navigating through Google Play submission process
  • Experience with workflow orchestration
  • Experience with automation
  • Experience working with 3rd party APIs/integrating 3rd party systems
  • Familiarity with secure development practices
