Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the shipping activity with regard to the preparation of Shipping Documentation, Shipping Instructions, Scheduling, L/C documentation,
- Experience for all import and sales tax exemptions which include managing forwarding agents, shipping line, haulage, trucking, insurance and customs clearance.
- Liaise and coordinate with overseas suppliers
- Ensure compliance with the customer’s shipping instructions and ensuring all import shipping documents are in order.
- Liaise with the shipping agent to ensure all shipping documents compile and receive on time.
- Coordinates and liaises the load-out schedule with the warehouse to ensure the timely and accurate load-out and receiving of all products.
- Follow up and liaise with internal dept/section to clarify and reconcile any data discrepancies, etc
- Responsible for processing products claims in accordance with supplier claimant terms and conditions
- Monitor costing and Inventory status, cost report and documentation preparation.
- To perform assigned Admin jobs as and when required.
- Able to handle full set of export/import documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up and quick learning skills
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Logistic/Shipping/Business Studies/Administration or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
- Strong usage in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
- Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Required Skill(s): Import and Export Logistics, Shipment planning Documentation & Billing, Dealing with Forwarder, Shipping, Customs & Port.
