Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Position : Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location : Kota Kinabalu REQUIREMENTS : • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent. *At least 2 years experience in Quantity Surveyor /relevant main construction • Understand process of contractor's interim payment claim submission • Some working experience in project under construction • Available to start work immediately Possess own vehicle JOB DESCRIPTION - Asist in tendering process until submission. - Able to attend joint evaluation and assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing the Interim progress claims for submissions - Monitor & keep track of monthly progress claim & payment status until project completion. - Prepare cost analysis and comparison on potential cost proposal from subcontractor / supplier. - Assist in preparing agreements to appoint subcontractors. - Able to handle and keep track of all QS documentation. - Able to prepare, compilation and submission of potential variation order. - Able to assist in preparing Statement of Final Account. - Able to liaise and work closely with Procurement Department, Contract Department & Project Site team. - Able to work with other departments - Assist the Senior QS with general quantity surveying tasks and any other tasks not listed above. * Please submit your resume to [email protected]
