Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of all lift systems within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing maintenance strategies, managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing equipment performance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive lift maintenance strategy aligned with business objectives. Establish maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of lift systems to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of lift technicians. Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring. Monitor team performance and address issues promptly. Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions. Investigate and report accidents or incidents related to lift operations. Maintenance Execution: Oversee daily maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance services. Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Justify budget allocations to senior management. Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lift performance, safety, and maintenance costs. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions to enhance lift reliability and efficiency. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in lift maintenance management. In-depth knowledge of lift systems, components, and maintenance procedures. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in using maintenance management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
