We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of our F&B outlets in Petaling Jaya and Genting Highlands, with plans to expand into Johor Bahru and Singapore. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience managing a multi-outlet F&B chain, with a strong preference for those with expertise in Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng cuisine. Key Responsibilities: • Operational Oversight: Lead and manage the operations of all existing outlets, ensuring efficiency, quality service, and customer satisfaction. • Expansion Management: Oversee the opening of new outlets in Johor Bahru and Singapore, ensuring smooth launches and maintaining the brand’s operational standards. • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment and professional growth among staff. • Financial Performance: Manage budgets, control costs, and implement strategies to increase profitability while maintaining high standards of service and product quality. • Supply Chain & Vendor Management: Ensure efficient supply chain processes, negotiate with suppliers, and manage relationships to maintain quality and cost efficiency. • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all outlets meet local regulations, hygiene standards, and safety protocols. • Customer Experience: Continuously assess and improve the customer experience across all outlets, ensuring a consistent and high-quality dining experience. • Menu Development & Innovation: Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to ensure menu offerings remain innovative and aligned with customer preferences, particularly focused on Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng cuisine. • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular operational reports to senior management, offering insights on performance, challenges, and opportunities. • Technology Implementation: Utilize technology to streamline operations, improve customer engagement, and enhance overall efficiency. Skills and Requirements: • Experience: • Minimum 10-15 years of experience managing a chain of F&B outlets, ideally with a focus on multi-location operations. • Proven experience in Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng cuisine or a deep understanding of its operations and customer expectations. • Experience in launching and managing outlets in different geographical locations, especially in high-traffic areas like Genting Highlands or PJ. • Leadership & Management: • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams across multiple locations. • Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and scaling a business. • Financial Acumen: • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and P&L management. • Ability to implement cost control measures while driving profitability. • Project Management: • Experience with the opening and launch of new outlets, overseeing all operational aspects from pre-opening to ongoing management. • Customer-Centric Focus: • Deep understanding of customer service principles and a proven track record in delivering exceptional customer experiences. • Supply Chain & Inventory Management: • Experience in managing supply chains, working with vendors, and controlling inventory in a cost-effective manner. • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address challenges and opportunities swiftly. • Technologically Savvy: • Familiarity with F&B industry technology, including POS systems, CRM tools, and digital ordering platforms. • Communication & Negotiation: • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and teams effectively. • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and suppliers. • Regulatory Knowledge: • Comprehensive knowledge of local regulatory requirements related to F&B operations, health, and safety standards in Malaysia and Singapore. Educational Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
