General Worker (Manufacturing) The General Worker/Operator performs housekeeping tasks, meeting the organisational requirements to ensure work space efficiency and effectiveness. He/She takes instructions from his/her section lead and performs all general duties as required. • Unloading and loading textile and garments • Maintaining the stores • Packing orders as requested by the customers • Adapt to change fast pace environment • Apply continuous process improvement techniques. • Apply emotional competence to manage self at the workplace. • Apply quality systems. • Apply workplace safety and health practices. • Communicate and relate effectively at the workplace. • Develop personal effectiveness at operations level. • Interpret basic regulation requirement. • Maintain personal presentation and employability at operations level. • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain clean environment. • Reduce staff errors and mistakes. • Work in a team.
