Position Overview As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be the backbone of data-driven decision-making within the organization. Your role is to transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling leadership to make informed strategic and operational decisions. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting to uncover trends, optimize business processes, and support business growth. The ideal candidate is not only highly analytical but also possesses the technical prowess to design and implement scalable BI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, translate them into impactful dashboards and reports, and ensure that key stakeholders have the insights they need to drive success. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to deliver actionable insights through advanced data modeling, reporting, and visualization techniques. • BI Tool Implementation & Management: Develop, maintain, and optimize BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and dashboards that provide real-time insights to the business. Ensure tools are user-friendly and meet the needs of non-technical stakeholders. • Dashboard Design: Create intuitive and impactful dashboards, ensuring that data is presented in a way that’s easy to understand for decision-makers. Tailor dashboards to meet the specific needs of various departments (sales, finance, marketing, etc.). • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, data engineers, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to define data needs and solutions. • KPI Development & Monitoring: Identify, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business health and identify areas for improvement. Proactively identify emerging trends and provide actionable recommendations. • Data Warehouse Support: Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure the efficient functioning of the data warehouse, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide in-depth reports to support business initiatives, uncovering opportunities and risks. • Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, security, and consistency by implementing data governance best practices. Develop and enforce data policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Training & Support: Provide ongoing support and training to end-users of BI tools, empowering business teams to leverage data effectively in their decision-making processes.
