Job Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lighting manufacturing plant. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring quality standards, optimizing efficiency, maintaining safety protocols, leading a team of production staff, and ensuring compliance with 5S and ISO standards. Key Responsibilities: 1) Production Management: - Plan, organize, and manage the manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production and on-time delivery. - Develop and implement production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet demand and minimize downtime. - Monitor production processes, equipment, and output to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. 2) Team Leadership: -Supervise, mentor, and train production staff, including supervisors, operators, and technicians. 3)Quality Assurance: - Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with industry regulations. - Implement and monitor quality control procedures, identifying and addressing any issues promptly. 4)Health and Safety: - Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure the factory operates in compliance with health and safety regulations. - Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed. 5) 5S Implementation: - Lead the implementation and maintenance of the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) throughout the factory. - Regularly audit 5S practices, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. 6)Process Optimization: - Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste. - Monitor and analyze production data to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 7) Inventory and Resource Management: - Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production needs. - Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, materials, and machinery. 8)ISO Documentation and Compliance: - Ensure the factory complies with ISO standards relevant to manufacturing, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), and others as applicable. - Maintain and update ISO documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records. 9)Budgeting and Cost Control: - Develop and manage the factory budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets. - Monitor production costs and implement measures to reduce waste and control expenses. 10)Compliance and Reporting: - Ensure compliance with local and international manufacturing regulations and standards. - Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies and company leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Factory Manager or in a similar managerial role in the manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of production management, quality control, and safety standards. Experience with 5S methodology and ISO documentation is essential. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
