Position Summary Support process and facilities engineering team (mainly on utilities system) in a day-to-day operations support for KBB offshore. Provide support to perform engineering analysis, reporting and implement solutions from various stages of engineering study. Participate in process optimization exercise and continuous improvement initiative within process and facilities engineering team (e.g improvement on operating envelope, develop integrated process monitoring through PI_Vision, integrated process calculation file database, process simulation modelling). Participate in Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) studies and follow-up on close-out of related action items. Participate in root cause analysis, incident investigation and gather all the relevant data for process troubleshooting. Participate in MOC process. Assist the project team/ MOC engineer in verifying ASB for P&ID, and MOC close out. Principle Accountabilities 1. Regularly review process and utilities equipment performance (via P2/ Pi/ DCS) and highlight to Process and Facilities Team for any anomalies. 2. Supports process engineering matters and performs process simulation checks whenever required. 3. Supports process safety related work such as SCE status and health and risk assessments/ HAZOP/ HAZID. 4. Works with tools to monitor and optimize the KBB process against actual and expected process performance. 5. Supports the development of KPOC procedures and guidelines related to process engineering and process safety. 6. Supports technical work for new projects and start-ups. 7. Initiates MOC’s and works on assigned MOC’s to improve and optimize KBB operations. 8. Participate in incident investigation whenever nominated by the team lead. 9. Participate in alarm management review session and provide support to Process Engineering/ multidiscipline group in improving KBB alarm performance. Requirements 1.Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent grading. Preferably core study in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering. 2. Applicants must be 25 years old or younger and have not secured a permanent position in the field that they have studied. 3. Exposure to upstream facility systems (Gas Hub / Oil Hub / Utilities) in the Oil & Gas industry is an added advantage. 4. Familiar with high level overview in oil and gas operation/ business 5. Familiar and has the hands-on experience on engineering applications, especially related to process engineering (Hysys, PipeSim, Visio, etc) 6. Knowledgeable in computer software/ windows-based database, spreadsheet, and word processing programs. 7. Demonstrated ability for development of reports for and presentations to management. 8. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple disciplines, across different management levels and external stakeholders. 9. Self-motivated with the ability to plan and execute tasks with minimal supervision. 10. High levels of creativity, persistence, curiosity and enthusiasm. 11. Priority to Sabahan applicants. 12.
