Graduate, Maintenance (Mechanical)

Position Summary Assist Onshore Mechanical engineers to plan and execute major PMs/CMs/Overhauls work both in Onshore & Offshore. Also assist in providing both short and long-term maintenance strategies to continuously improve reliability and reduce operating costs of KBB. Principle Accountabilities 1. HSE - Actively show support to the policies, goals, efforts and programs of KPOC’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. Ensures HSE issues are given primary consideration in all activities undertaken within area of responsibility. 2. Reliability and Availability – Working closely with Onshore Mechanical engineers for all Rotating & Static equipment on the KBB facilities, to ensure high equipment reliability & availability. 3. Spares availability – Assist in ensuring availability of all critical operational spares and special tools. 4. Assist Onshore Mechanical engineers with day-to-day troubleshooting of offshore issues and provide immediate support. 5. Assist CSR for Major Mechanical Maintenance scope in supervising contractors to execute major PM/CM offshore & onshore (in Contractor’s workshop, FAT, etc). 6. Assist Mechanical engineers in Work pack preparation, Risk Assessment, RO/PO Issuance, PM/CM Planning in SAP. Requirements 1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent grading. Preferably core study in Mechanical Engineering. 2. Applicants must be 25 years old or younger and have not secured a permanent position in the field that they have studied. 3. Positive thinking/behavior and a team player capable of working effectively in a diverse team. 4. Strong passion and curiosity for the industry and desire to learn and grow. 5. Adaptability and proactive mindset to learn and take on new challenges. 6. Priority to Sabahan applicants. 7. Malaysian applicants only.
