Receptionist plays a very important role as they are the first point of contact for clients and customers. The first impression given to external parties is crucial and how we treat them from the moment they walk in, speaks volume. Did we make them feel important? Did we display our famous Malaysian hospitality? Did we manage to answer their queries? So, if you feel strongly about these, then this could be the job for you. The incumbent candidate will report to the Head of Facilities Maintenance & Safety Department. RESPONSIBILITIES:- • To handle the telephone console; answer incoming calls, transferring calls, and taking messages. • To maintain and ensure that the reception area is always neat, clean and tidy. • To refill education brochures (stock) whenever supply runs low. • To direct visitors/guests. • To sort daily incoming and outgoing mail. • To keep track of ex-stock items e.g. A4 papers, letterheads and envelopes, and other stationery items, and inform the Head of Department to replenish stocks whenever supplies run low. • To attend to calls for maintenance & repair service, and inform Facilities Team about such request. • To assist in the booking of special rooms, e.g. Teleconferencing Room, Smart Classrooms, etc, and also to control the keys to these special rooms. • To keep records of electricity/water/telephone/other bills. REQUIREMENTS:- • Minimum SPM/STPM/Certificate/Diploma qualification. • A Minimum 2 years of working experience in similar capacity. • Pleasant disposition with good command of English language, both verbal and written. • Ability to speak other languages/dialects will be an added advantage.
