Responsibility and Authority 1. Energy Management: • Implement and Maintain Energy Management System (EnMS): Support the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the company's Energy Management System in line with ISO 50001 or other applicable standards. • Energy Audits & Assessments: Assist in conducting energy audits and assessments to identify energy-saving opportunities, optimize energy use, and improve operational efficiency. • Coordinate Energy-Saving Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and monitor energy-saving initiatives. Ensure timely execution and alignment with the company’s sustainability goals. • Energy Performance Monitoring: Track energy performance metrics and KPIs, preparing reports on energy consumption, savings, and efficiency measures. 2. ESG: • GHG Inventory (Scope 1, 2, and 3): Assist in the calculation, reporting, and verification of the company’s greenhouse gas emissions across all three scopes. Ensure compliance with international standards such as the GHG Protocol. • Life Cycle Assessment (LCA): Support the LCA process by gathering data, conducting assessments, and identifying areas for improvement in product or service sustainability across their entire life cycle. • ESG Awareness and Communication: Coordinate internal ESG awareness campaigns, including employee training and sustainability workshops. Prepare ESG-related communications for internal and external stakeholders, including sustainability reports, newsletters, and updates. • CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) Compliance: Assist in the collection, organization, and submission of ESG data in line with CSRD requirements. Ensure that the organization is prepared for reporting obligations, contributing to the preparation of the annual sustainability report. Qualifications and Experience - Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy Management, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or related areas. - Strong project management and coordination skills, preferably in an industrial setting. - Knowledge of GHG Protocol, CSRD, LCA, and other sustainability-related frameworks. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - French language is an advantage, due to reporting to French management. - Outstanding computer skills, in Excel, Design and Drawing tools.
