PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope of work, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations. Proactively communicate project progress, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of engineers, technicians, and construction personnel. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance reviews. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. Manage change orders and claims. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management. Proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project). Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Additional Skills (Preferred) PMP certification. Experience in specific civil engineering projects (e.g., infrastructure, building construction, environmental remediation). Knowledge of local regulations and permitting requirements.
