PayNet is on the lookout for an extraordinary Editorial and Digital Specialist to join our Brand & Communications team. This pivotal role requires an exceptional individual who will be responsible for crafting and implementing cutting-edge social media strategies, managing PayNet’s digital presence, and creating captivating digital content. The ideal candidate will engage our audience and amplify our brand in the digital sphere.

  • KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Social Media Strategy: Devise and execute innovative social media strategies to bolster brand awareness and engagement across diverse platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Editorial Oversight: Oversee all content creation, including writing, editing, and proofreading, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and quality.
  • Content Creation and Management: Produce, curate, and oversee all published content (images, videos, text) ensuring it is engaging, accurate, and reflective of PayNet’s brand voice.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns using quantitative metrics to shape future strategies.
  • Digital Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to weave social media strategies into the broader digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, website content, and online advertising.
  • Community Management: Engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies, adapting strategies to remain at the forefront of innovation.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers and partners to extend brand reach and credibility.
  • SEO Integration: Work in tandem with the SEO team to ensure content is optimised for search engines.
  • Campaign Development: Assist in crafting and managing digital marketing campaigns, including promotional events and product launches.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise closely with different departments to ensure consistency in messaging and to leverage content across platforms.
  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications & Professional Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Profound understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills.
  • Creative flair with strong graphic design skills is desirable.
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels and SEO principles.
  • Proficient in content management systems and social media management tools.

Working Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in social media management and digital marketing.
