Machine and Factory Maintenance Engineer

• To plan, undertake and draw scheduled maintenance of all equipment, plants, machinery including all filtration systems; • To regularly diagnose, respond, supervise all maintenance of the factory; • To set up, establish and implement all maintenance policies, procedures and standards including drawing up manuals, conducting workshops and setting of rules and regulations. • To immediately attend and resolve all break-down of mechanical or computer assisted machinery and plants; • To ensure a proper and appropriate stock level of inventory for consumables and spare parts for the machinery including oil, gaskets (if any), bearings etc. • To ensure the machinery are kept in working condition including ensuring safety in the surrounding areas. • To ensure the compliance of safety rules and to work with the Malaysian employees as to the compliance of the rules and regulations; • To create a maintenance culture amongst the production employees and to advise the Factory and Production Director in regards to the conditions of the machinery and to troubles shoot any disruption of the production lines; • To ensure all machinery are in tip top condition to meet the production datelines and orders of the customers • To train a Malaysian by imparting the technical knowledge and skills necessary for the maintenance of the plant and machinery.
