o Develop and optimize routes for 40ft lorries to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. o Use route planning software and tools to identify the most effective routes considering traffic, road conditions, and delivery windows. o Monitor routes and make real-time adjustments as needed to avoid delays. o Create and manage delivery schedules for 40ft lorries. o Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations. o Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly. o Collect and analyze data related to delivery times, fuel consumption, and route efficiency. o Ensure all transportation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. o Conduct regular safety checks and ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. o Communicate with clients to understand their delivery needs and expectations. o Provide timely updates on delivery status and address any client concerns. o Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction. o Monitor and control transportation costs, including fuel, maintenance, and labor. o Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
