Sern Kou Group is a Public Listed Company in Malaysia. Our company is expanding the business to the upstream sector in plantation development activities at the state of Kelantan. This role will be based in our PJ office. Job Summary This position is based in Petaling Jaya branch, to assist 1st secretary who must work in multiple work location, together to provide routine administrative and secretarial support to the Managing Director to ensure the smooth management of his day-to-day affairs and enable him to attend to more demanding duties. Handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner. The Jobscope a. Manage director and office electronic diary, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary. b. Manage Director’s business travel arrangements (including visas/accommodation). c. Organise meetings and ensure that Director is well prepared for those meetings, preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers. d. Assist Director in reaching and following up with action on matters which fall within the Director’s responsibility – chasing responses, triggering follow-up action. e. Assist timely communications between office and departments employees; transmit information, ensure deadlines, provide reminders and keep track record of communication. f. Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority. g. Assist HR and admin when comes to branding and operations efficiency issues. h. Checking director resolutions with laws and company policies. i. Any ad-hoc duties from time to time assigned by the Director. Remuneration Package a. Full-time position. RM 2,300 – 3,000 b. Entitled for EPF, SOCSO, & EIS. c. Extra Self-elevation Allowance or Professional Membership Allowance. d. Provided with free company parking, comfortable office and in-house canteen. Near to LRT station ( 6 minutes walking distance ). Requirement a. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree for Secretarial, Psychology or equivalent. b. Over 2 years of experience as a Senior-level Secretary or Personal Assistant. c. Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply. d. Proficient or a willingness to learn Malaysia Company Act and Business English. Part-time candidates or fresh graduates with a background in MAICSA will have an advantage in terms of career development. e. Computer literate and proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
