Identify defects such as: cracks, blisters, stress fractures and cosmetic flaws. Inspecting all parts for defects and repairing all air voids, scratches, mold marks and thin gel. Grind out defective areas, smooth rough edges/areas by using appropriate power or hand-tools. Prep fiberglass, resins, and damaged areas for repair. Shape and smooth edges to match contour properly. Cutting and applying materials. Buff and polish repaired surfaces. Perform minor or major repairs to cracked or chipped surfaces. Spray chopped fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto prepared molds or dyes using pneumatic spray guns with chopper attachments. Refinishing a wide range of surfaces in commercial environments. Estimate repair times, plan for materials, coordinate jobs with management. Operate powered industrial equipment. Capable of working alone on more than one applicable craft and its skills. Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks. Working with clients to provide exceptional customer service. Understand and follow oral and written directions. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
