Chemist Cum Microbiologist Manager

Job Title: Chemist/Microbiologist Manager Location: Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia Job Overview: We are looking for a Chemist with expertise in developing personal care products such as hair care and skincare items, including soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions. The candidate must have knowledge of microbiological testing to ensure product safety and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the Chemist/Microbiologist Manager will be responsible for managing the QA and QC teams, ensuring product quality at all stages of production. Key Responsibilities: • Develop formulations for hair care and skincare products. • Perform microbiological tests and ensure product safety. • Collaborate with R&D on product formulation improvements. • Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 22716 standards. • Conduct stability testing and scale-up formulations for production. • Document product specifications and results. • Research new ingredients and product technologies for continuous improvement. • Manage the QA and QC teams, ensuring quality assurance throughout the production process. • Oversee quality control testing and troubleshooting to maintain product standards Qualifications and Experience: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in personal care product formulation. • Understanding of microbiology and industry standards. • Analytical skills for troubleshooting formulation issues. Salary Range: MYR 6,000 + negotiable based on experience and qualification.
