We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Intern with a strong understanding of labour laws to join our HR team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resource management, while applying your knowledge of employment laws and regulations to support our HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Recruitment: Help with job postings, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the recruitment process.
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Support the onboarding of new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met. Assist in the exit process for departing employees.
- HR Compliance: Ensure that all HR activities and employee relations align with labour laws and company policies. Assist in reviewing contracts, offer letters, and other HR documents for legal compliance.
- Policy Development: Assist in the drafting and updating of HR policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current labour law requirements and best practices.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain and organize employee files, ensuring all necessary records are up to date and compliant with legal requirements.
- Employee Relations: Help with conflict resolution and employee grievance processes while ensuring adherence to employment regulations.
- Training & Development: Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training programs and workshops.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including document preparation, meeting coordination, and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of labour laws and employment regulations in Malaysia.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- We are looking for immediate starter.
Nice to Have:
- Prior internship or work experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and compensation regulations.

Pay: RM600.00 - RM900.00 per month
