The Opportunity
The team is growing, and we are looking for the right candidate to support the delivery of a wide range of sustainability building projects as we support our clients to meet their sustainability objectives. The focus of this role is to provide services and support in the areas of Building Physics, Energy Modelling, Sustainable Building Design, Net Zero Roadmap, Decarbonisation, Sustainable City Planning and Green Building Certifications.
- To provide input on total project delivery for a broad range of building, infrastructure and city planning projects, addressing how the design by other disciplines responds to sustainable drivers.
- To manage a range of sustainability projects, either as a technical specialist in support of a wider team or as the Project Manager
- To undertake energy, CFD, carbon, and other building physics analysis on projects.
- To develop design, sketches, calculations, drawings, simulations, specifications and reports for projects.
- To prepare project reports for clients summarising sustainability outcomes and strategically advising on best outcomes. To develop systems and concept for a sustainable approach to sustainable and low carbon building design. To support the delivery of strategy, planning, and implementation projects focused on sustainability, decarbonization, ESG and resilience.
Is this role right for you?
- Relevant tertiary qualification within Architectural, Consulting or Engineering
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities
- Experience in leading project involving building sustainability certification, carbon assessment, building energy audit, climate change assessment and net zero transition
- Certified accredited professional of sustainability rating system (e.g. Green Mark, LEED, WELL, Living Building Challenge, GRI)
- Technical expertise in sustainable development, consulting experience, and successful project management experience in the property sector (both public and private).
