We are looking for a driven Employee Lifecycle (Senior ELC) Specialist to join our Sanofi People Services team. This is a key role in providing effective support on end-to-end HR Services processes for Employee Life Cycle for Greater China.
This role reports to the People Services ELC Team Manager - Greater China and he/she may be assigned a specific sub-process. He/She works closely with the P&C team, BU heads, BU Admin/secretary, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Security, Legal, IT Services Business Partners, Facilities management, Payroll and Time & Expense BPO partner and People Services front line teams in countries/region.
Employee Life Cycle
Coordinate and manage employee life cycle activities in Workday and on the ground with the various stakeholders relating to Sanofi China entities and deliver the services as per their respective Service Level Agreements.
Create employee contracts, complete all required steps, coordinate with the various stakeholders to make an efficient and seamless on-boarding experience
Manage the employee job change process in Workday and related systems, coordinate with external parties for immigration, relocation, training as required
Administer termination activities, coordinate collection of assets
Monitor data quality and identify potential issues and take pro-active measures
Prepare periodic reporting and ad-hoc reports
Execute in compliance with Sanofi policies and guidelines
Complete all activities as per the global Core Model and operational KPIs
Develop expert level knowledge of the activities in scope as well as local knowledge of entities in scope and become a superuser
Pro-actively anticipate operational issues
Provide support as per the Customer Service process in Service Now and contribute to the Knowledge Database
Build, document and transfer People Services Core Model process knowledge (Level 6/7) relating to employee lifecycle management
Continuous improvement
Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities.
Participate in process automation initiatives and ensure seamless adoption and transition.
Participate in global projects as required.
About you:
Functional
Broad understanding of HR process and activities (essential)
Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills (essential)
Awareness of data privacy rules (GDPR etc.) (advantageous)
Technical
Computer literate and hands-on experience with HR / Human Capital Management (HCM) related tools & systems such as Workday, and ServiceNow (essential)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advance level proficiency in Excel (advantageous)
Interpersonal
Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner (essential)
Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with HR front line teams with an end-to-end mindset (essential)
Good communication skills at all levels, verbal and written (advantageous)

Background and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree with HR, Business Administration or relevant (essential)
Fluent in English and Mandarin (speak, read and write) to support Greater China Operation (essential)
2+ years of proven experience in a HR role or a relevant.
