Logistic & Inventory Control Executive

A Logistics and Inventory Executive is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods, materials, and products. The main responsibilities of this role include: • Planning and implementing logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods. • Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure they reach their destination on time and in good condition. • Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies and minimize waste. • Managing the delivery schedules and ensuring timely dispatch of goods to customers. • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and carriers to ensure cost-effective and reliable delivery of goods. • Supervising and coordinating the work of logistics and inventory personnel, including drivers, warehouse workers, and dispatchers. • Implementing and maintaining logistics and inventory management systems to optimize processes and track performance. • Analysing logistics and inventory data to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for cost savings. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure the company remains competitive
