Assistant Boiler

Requirement  Ensure the steam supply generated to the plants are sufficient and in desired quantity and quality  Ensure the targeted production is met with the right quality and quantity and utilization of utilities maximised.  Check process parameters for smooth boiler operation  Maintain boiler water quantity and quality as per specifications  Maintain good housekeeping at all time for safe working environment  Attend to all blockages, breakdowns etc. when situations arise  Carry out all jobs designated during the boiler bunker cleaning, preventive maintenance or annual shutdown  Use suitable PPE for any hazardous works for safety reasons  Record data and maintains log sheets on regular basis for easy access of all daily record.  Execute daily operation by following ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ to reduce risk when working  Report to Boilerman for any incidents, accidents or abnormal emission during the shift for immediate action  To comply all requirements of the systems  Send relevant samples to Laboratory at regular frequency for analysis  Check the laboratory result and tune the boiler accordingly in liaison with the shift supervisor  To operate, monitor, maintain, and trouble-shoot air pollution control facility.  Work involves responsibility for the technical aspects, compliance with Department of Environment (DOE) operating regulations, and facilities system.
