Maintenance Technician

Based in: Chow Sow Lin Printing Plant The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing presses and associated equipment. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of complex machinery, keeping our printing operation running efficiently and on schedule. Please note this job position's working hours is night shift. Responsibilities: * Perform routine preventive maintenance on printing presses, conveyor systems, and other machinery. * Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. * Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely. * Quality Control - Monitor the printing process to ensure high-quality output. * Adjust machinery settings to maintain print quality. * Perform tests and inspections to detect malfunctions or defects. * Safety and Compliance - Adhere to safety regulations and protocols. Conduct safety inspections and maintain safety records. * Report on maintenance issues and recommend improvements. Qualifications: * Possess Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or higher qualification with relevant work experience. * Preferably computer literate. * Candidates with independent, mature and adaptable to team work. * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. * Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Hands-on mentality with a willingness to learn new skills. * Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical personnel.
