Job Description
- Lead and manage all aspects of the Reservations department and ensure all service standards are followed
- Manage and coordinate all group and individual reservations
- Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize rooms revenue all distribution channels
- Maintain and manage Passkey inventory, property content and guest communication templates
- Manage daily inventory control, balance and room assignment
- Load, maintain and manage all Business Transient rates on all distribution channels. Conduct on-going audit for accuracy and visibility on channels
- Assist with maintaining accurate hotel content on branded websites and all 3rd party websites
- Maintain accuracy of information/data and enhance automation efforts in reporting tools
- Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents
- Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategy to operation team
- Monitor changes in inventory and provide guidance on the impact of current strategies
- Monitor group blocks and assess risk, while making strategy recommendations
- Coordinates the implementation of selling strategies
- Assist with accurately generate and update Revenue Management reports
- Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, inputting rates, restrictions, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks
- Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems
- Participate and contribute in all revenue related initiatives
- Perform ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and reporting on a needed basis to senior leadership
- Communicates effectively between Reservations, Sales, Convention Services, Accounting and Front Desk
Qualifications
- At least 3 years minimum experience in a similar role
- Previous reservations experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Property Manager (Opera Cloud) and IDeaS preferred
- Previous experience within group and tour markets preferred
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of organization
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
