We are looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Executive to manage and optimize our logistics operations.

In this role, you will oversee supply chain processes, manage transportation, and ensure the efficient delivery of goods. You will also work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and drive continuous improvement in logistics performance.

Job Scope:

  • Logistics Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the logistics and supply chain process, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and improve supply chain operations to ensure timely deliveries, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with procurement teams, and ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee the company’s fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and drivers follow safety protocols.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with government regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and prepare reports on logistics performance, cost control, and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and train junior logistics staff, foster teamwork, and ensure continuous development of the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or executive role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in logistics software and supply chain management tools.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation management.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze logistics data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in leading logistics projects and driving process improvements.

Personal Skills:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a logistics team.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot logistics challenges and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail when managing logistics processes and handling documentation.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
