Facilities Engineer ( Resorts )
Job Description Facilities Engineer is responsible for monitoring the maintenance of building systems and utilities. Ultimately, you will be assessing the facility’s resource requirements, designing and optimising the facility’s operational systems, by ensuring adherence to the required specifications, budgets and quality standards.
You are responsible to:
Maintenance Planning & Evaluation: set reliability, availability, and maintainability criteria, and evaluate operational systems to improve efficiency.
Health & Safety Compliance: Monitor facility systems to ensure they meet health, safety, and regulatory standards, conducting routine inspections and implementing corrective actions.
Project Coordination: Design, implement, and manage construction/renovation projects, coordinating schedules, materials, and labour with appointed workers or contractors while ensuring resort requirements are met.
Budget & Performance Management: Monitor maintenance quality parameters, analyze maintenance expenditure vs. budget, and develop cost-effective monitoring methods for facilities.
Leadership & Improvement: supervisors and team member oversee maintenance management reviews and assess new technologies
To be successful for the role:
Degree in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or other equivalent fields
Minimum 3 years of working experience in building facilities engineering and maintenance. Hotel or Resort facilities will be an advantage.
Practical experience is required in Building Management, Material, Configuration Management, Risk/Critical Analysis, Contract Maintenance, and reliability, availability and maintainability theory.
Good understanding of operational knowledge of the building processes, construction principles and regulations.
Working knowledge of CAD software, drawing programs, and modelling software. Knowledge of Microsoft Project or relevant software
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
