In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Schematic work involving new components changes.
- Work on technical changes associated to technical drawings, schematics, datasheets and work instructions.
- Debug and repair electronics prototypes
- Participate in product certification, compliance, testing and evaluation
- Execute verification and validation plans
- Submit prototype and component purchase requisition
- Manage component EOL (End of life) database.
- Manage soldering lab (ensure that it is well stocked, complies to ISO standards etc)
- Communicate with colleagues worldwide
- At least 6 years of experience in related background.
- Understanding of electronic component operation including basic digital and analog circuits
- Excellent hardware soldering or PCBA rework skillset.
- Good problem solving skills, initiative and attention to detail
- Ability to manage several simultaneous tasks
- Ability to communicate constructively with engineers, assembler, and technicians throughout the organization is essential.
- Self-motivated to learn new things on your own or through training, and a willingness to teach what you've learned to the rest of the team.
- Agile process knowledge is preferred.
- Schematic EDA tool using Mentor Graphics or any equivalent industrial EDA tool is preferred.
- Basic LabVIEW knowledge is preferred.
