Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational safety and health regulations, including those outlined in the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Officer) Regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to management and employees on safety-related matters.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in the development of emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate safety training programs and workshops for employees to enhance awareness and competency in safety practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, inspectors, and external auditors during inspections and audits.
  • Keep up-to-date of changes in safety regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends to ensure continuous improvement in safety standards.
  • Any other task as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment Management, or a related field.
  • A certified Green Book holder by DOSH.
  • Minimum of five (5) years working experience in Construction / Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemicals Industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
