Responsibilities

Estimate and prepare competitive bids for new projects
Determines labor based on component needs including any special processes, testing, or outside processing
Prepares Quotes and Cost Estimates
Apply pricing standards to estimate costs
Determine material requirements and manufacturing processes needed to complete quotes/orders
Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and/or other departments to determine methods and pricing for unusual or new orders
Maintain effective contact with customers
Provide input and feedback on issues relevant to customer programs and marketing initiatives
Work independently with moderate supervision.

Requirements

3-5+ years of estimator or equivalent work experience
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience.
Experience with multi-level bills of material
Experience in the Semi-conductor industry, preferably Gas Delivery Systems/Welding/Fabrication
Experience reading/using/understanding Engineering prints/drawings/documents, especially as it relates to welding and fabrication
Welding and Fabrication knowledge for Stainless Steel and other Semi-Conductor industry-related process materials
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including but not limited to Vlookups, Pivot Tables, VBA
Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Solid Knowledge of MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
