Costing Engineer

• Provide the necessary knowhow/ skills to generated accurate costing for the automation system with consist of Design/Fabrication/ Assembly /Packing/ Shipment / On-Site Installation /Service support etc. with relevant documentation either or specification, propose , concept design , drawing, BOM list etc.
• Generate Best-Practice-Product Cost Calculations considering a Total Cost approach.
• Execution of internal and external process validations and evaluation of the Cost performance within respective Commodity.
• Up keep Understanding on current related market cost; to ensure the costing provide matching to market.
• Continuous development of group wide Cost Engineering technology-specific Reference-processes, procedures and tools.
• Make recommendations of best business practices with most cost effective build.
• Participate in reviews with the project team.
• Work with related teams ensure all questions and concerns are addressed, with capable for analyze, judge for right decision.
• Plans, coordinates, review and executes the activities involved on costing with from the start phase until completed pass through to business unit.
• Able and willing to travel to customer meetings, locally, nationally, and abroad if necessary.
• Interface with all internal (related) departments to ensure they are kept up to date on the requirement info that are created to support the costing requests.
• All information, data are highly confidential shall only provide for related authorised person only.
• Ensure the costing generate is following proper procedures and standards and well keep track.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the work area.
• Supportive, ability to work in teams, strong communication skills in international context.
• Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.
• To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
