Global Operations Lead - Search and Account Safety Operations

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Search and Account Safety Operations teams across APAC, EMEA, and AMS regions. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence, ensure the safety and integrity of search results and search recommendations, and maintain a secure environment for users. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large, geographically dispersed teams, developing and implementing operational strategies, and working collaboratively across regions and functions. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and manage team leads (TLs) across APAC, EMEA, and AMS regions, ensuring consistent performance and alignment with our business metrics targets and development.
• Oversee workforce planning, including resource allocation, hiring, and training to meet operational demands and business targets across regions.
• Responsible for team performance and business metrics including establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Search and Account Safety Operations, conduct regular performance reviews, and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed operational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Policy, etc.) to address emerging threats and improve operational workflows.
• Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect users and maintain the integrity of search and account safety.
• Lead incident response efforts for operations teams, coordinating with regional teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional leadership, policy teams, and external partners.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• In-depth understanding of company content policies and community guidelines. Proven work experience in content moderation, content analysis, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of search operations account safety processes, and the global regulatory landscape. • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to think strategically, drive results, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making and operational analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in operations management, with a focus on Trust & Safety, Search, or Account Safety.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proven experience leading large, distributed teams across multiple regions (APAC, EMEA, AMS).
• Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
