Accounts Executive (General Ledger)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain day to day financial control within budget and ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored with a high level of accuracy and in compliance.
• Complete financial statement including journal entries, checking supporting entries, to carryout well-defined steps in cost accounting analysis accurately.
• Posting of journal voucher, payment voucher, and preparation of ageing reports of AR & AP on a monthly basis.
• Ensure that all month end closing deadline is met and submission of the relevant reports on timely basis (overdue accounts, collection reports, aging reports etc).
• Ensure timely processing of ageing report, forecast report & comparison of actual collection with forecast report.
• Liaise with related departments in order to ensure timely processing of AR & AP transactions and month end closing stocks report.
• Strong focus in daily banking activities in line with accounting policy and bank facilities policy for example issuance and updating of bank facilities documents i.e LC, BA, TR, IF etc, as and when required.
• Prepare of year end audit schedules, liaise with company auditors, tax agents on all statutory matters.
• Monitoring of monthly projects billing & perform cost analysis from time to time.
• Other adhoc task assign from Finance General Manager from time to time.

Position Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): ERP, Financial Audit
• Specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 3-4 years of working experience in the manufacturing environment would be preferable.
