On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Intern for the Finance/Account Department
Objective:
As an Intern for the Finance/Account Department, your primary goal is to support the finance team in executing, recording, and maintaining financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

What will you be doing?
1. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Assist in processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Aid in reconciling accounts receivable statements and managing collections.
2. Recording Transactions:
- Enter financial data into the accounting software/system accurately.
- Assist in maintaining updated records of transactions, expenses, and revenues.
3. Financial Documentation:
- Support in preparing and organizing financial documents, including receipts, bills, and invoices.
- Help in maintaining proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with the finance team to gather data for budget preparation.
- Assist in analyzing financial trends and contributing to forecasting activities.
5. Financial Reporting Support:
- Aid in preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for internal use.
- Assist in generating financial statements and variance analysis reports.
6. Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process enhancement and contribute ideas to streamline transactional activities.
- Assist in implementing improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
7. Ad Hoc Financial Tasks:
- Support the finance team in various ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.
- Assist in research and analysis for specific financial inquiries or projects.
Requirements:
- Final year student in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel or other relevant accounting software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic finance environment.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written, and fluency in other local languages is a significant advantage
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM1,000.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
