Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lectures and practical sessions in Pathology to undergraduate students.
- Develop and update the Pathology curriculum in line with the latest advancements in the field.
- Supervise and mentor students, providing guidance on academic and research projects.
- Conduct and publish high-quality research in reputable journals.
- Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, contributing to the overall development of the School of Medicine.
- Collaborate with colleagues in multidisciplinary research and teaching initiatives.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay current with the latest developments in Pathology and medical education.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent qualification (registerable with the Malaysian Medical Council).
- Master’s degree or PhD in Pathology (Anatomic pathology/Histopathology)
- Demonstrated experience in academic teaching and curriculum development.
- Strong track record of research and scholarly publications in the field of Pathology, with at least 5 publications in indexed journals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the academic community.
