Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation and Planning:

• Prepare detail estimates for tendering and project budgets for construction.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other tender / contract documents to prepare quantities and cost estimates for tenders and construction budgets.

Contract Management:

• Assist in the preparation and management of contracts.
• Assist Procurement Department in the scope of works to negotiate with the sub-contractors.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.

Tendering and Procurement:

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and other project documentation.
• Evaluate and review tenders from contractors and subcontractors.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Building Standards.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of project progress related to progress claims.
• Prepare and present reports to project directors / project managers on monthly progress claims.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
