Data Analyst Intern

Purpose of the Role

You will be a member of the Quality Initiative project team and play a key role in analyzing and managing data to enhance the quality of finished goods. This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy, improving data management systems, and providing insights that drive operational efficiency and boost production quality. You will support the team by identifying trends and developing data-driven strategies that contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Data Management and Integrity:Assist in data entry, data cleaning, and management to ensure accuracy and integrity within the company’s databases.
• Data Warehouse Improvement:Review current data collection points, spreadsheets, and data quality to identify areas for improvement in the data warehouse structure.
• Data Analysis & insightsAnalyze data related to the rearing and processing of Black Soldier Flies to support production optimization.

Collaborate with the production team to analyze and extract insights from data, contributing to improvements in production quality.

Highlight key insights, trends, and findings from data analysis to support data-driven decision-making.

• Reporting and Visualization: Create visual reports and dashboards to communicate research findings and operational metrics effectively.

Requirements & Person Specifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Production Engineering or a related field
• Experience working with BigQuery / Google Cloud are referable
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to focus on details
• Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization software
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Speaking English and Bahasa is required

Reporting Lines & Supervision

• You will report directly to Production Manager and be part of the Quality project

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM750.00 - RM800.00 per month
