Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager (Glove). The Production Manager will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Personnel & Administration, and Store departments to ensure efficient operations, high product quality, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
1. Departmental Supervision:
Provide leadership and direction to department heads in Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance (QA), Personnel & Administration, and Store departments.
Coordinate departmental activities to ensure seamless workflow, timely production schedules, and effective utilization of resources.
2. Production Management:
Oversee the production process to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and cost-efficiency goals.
Collaborate with the Production Department Head to optimize production processes, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity.
3. Maintenance Oversight:
Supervise the Maintenance Department Head in implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and uptime of production equipment and facilities.
Coordinate with the Maintenance team to address equipment breakdowns and minimize production disruptions.
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Work closely with the QA Department Head to maintain and improve product quality standards through effective quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to product quality and safety.
5. Personnel & Administration Management:
Supervise the Personnel & Administration Department Head in managing workforce planning, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee relations activities.
Oversee administrative functions such as payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.
6. Store Department Coordination:
Coordinate with the Store Department Head to manage inventory levels, procurement of raw materials and supplies, and efficient storage and distribution of finished goods.
Ensure accurate inventory tracking and reconciliation processes are in place.
Qualifications & Experiences Needed
- Bachelor's degree/ Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 4 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple departments.
- Experience in glove manufacturing or a similar industry is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate department heads and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of production, maintenance, quality assurance, personnel management, and inventory management principles.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to manufacturing operations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
